    IT Manager, Venture for Canada; Toronto | October 2021-present
    As the first leader of the IT team, I work closely every day with members of the leadership, programs, training, marketing, operations, and finance teams to identify and respond to all the technology needs of the organization. This includes relations with vendors and leading RFP processes, annual audits, and providing internal training on cybersecurity by delivering all-staff calls and the Beauceron platform. I support the Systems Associate with daily tasks, and participate in high-level discussions on the direction of VFC’s technology use and team. Using Zapier and other low-code tools, I work with staff to implement automation opportunities for their work, and ensure all VFC data is protected via Backblaze and Backupify.

    In response to the pandemic, I remotely transitioned all employees to a work from home set up in March 2020, and built and instituted a contact tracing system and desk booking process to assist the return to the office. I provided daily tech support to three main organizations and supplemental support for all other organizations at Foundation House (including A/V, computer repair, boardroom prep, events and webinars, and board and staff meeting support). I rolled out two step verification and measures to identify phishing across organizations, onboarded all new staff (email, Slack, LastPass, etc) and maintained computer systems (Windows and macOS), networks (EnGenius, SonicWall), and accounts (Microsoft Office 365 and Google Workspace).

    I relaunched the Fund’s website in summer 2016, adding Sumac (CRM) database integration in order to streamline donations and automate tax receipt generation and sending customized thank you emails.

    IT & Media Coordinator, Avenue Road Arts School; Toronto | January 2016-June 2018
    I was responsible for updating the School’s website (JavaScript, PHP, HTML, CSS), and built a mobile-optimized site to improve accessibility. I triaged and fixed IT issues that arose for staff, faculty, and students, and made purchases as needed for staff and infrastructure. I also maintained the School's network (Ubiquiti devices) and device inventory.
